Artist Comments: I had the immense pleasure of going on a two week rafting trip down the Grand Canyon in the summer of 2006. I took a small sketching journal with me and drew sights around me each day. This is one of the drawings from that journal. Blacktail Canyon is a hauntingly beautiful slot canyon off from the main canyon. We sat between the walls of Blacktail as one of the guides read a ghost story set in the same canyon, followed by flute music from another guide. |
